「なんかいい」

DA’Sは2009年に始まりました。
経歴の違う2人が、ふと思いつく「こういう服着たいな」というシンプルな想いと、五感の記憶（古いベンチの色、日に焼けたトタンの質感、古い絵の具の青etc…）を、目の細かいザルに落としては何度も篩い分けるようにしながら服を作っています。

泥染めやヴィンテージ生地、機屋さんと一緒に作る生地など、製品ごとに素材と技法を変え、工業製品から職人の一点ものまで、丁寧に仕上げます。

派手さではなく手間をかけ、失敗も繰り返しながら「なんかいい」と思える一着を、年齢も性別も関係なく色々な人に着て楽しんでもらえたら。

そしてDA’Sの洋服が今日もどこかで誰かを笑顔にしていますように。

それが私たち洋服を作る理由です。

最後に。

植物が好きです。

詳しいことは知らなくても、そばにあるとなんか良いなと思うのです。

「この組み合わせも良いな。」

「これは枯れてしまったけど残ったこれだけでも良いな。」

「お、枯れたこの感じも悪くないな。」

DA’Sが誰かにとって、そんな風であることを願って。

It just feels good.

DA’S started in 2009.

Two people with different backgrounds create our clothes. We take the simple desire that suddenly comes to mind— “I want to wear clothes like this” —together with sensory memories (the color of an old bench, the texture of a sun-faded tin roof, the blue that leaked from an old tube of paint, etc…) and sift them again and again through a fine mesh bowl.

We flexibly choose materials and techniques for each piece — mud dyeing, vintage fabrics, textiles developed together with weavers — producing everything from factory-made items to one-of-a-kind artisanal pieces, all finished with care.

Not flashy, but made with time and effort, repeating trials and errors until they become garments that feel “this just feels good.”　We hope people of all ages and genders enjoy wearing them.

And that somewhere today, DA’S clothes are bringing a smile to someone’s face.

That is why we make clothes.

Finally.

We love plants. Even if we don’t know the details, we think they make us feel good just by being by our side.

“This combination is good.”

“This dried up, but what’s left still feels good.”

“Oh, this faded feeling isn’t bad either.”

We hope DA’S can be that kind of presence for someone.
